BAILOUT THE DETROIT LIONS

With all the talk about giving money to the Detroit automobile industry, we should really be concerned about a greater failure in Detroit.  At least the Big Three are still selling cars, so there are few numbers in the win column.  However, Congress should really do something for the Detroit Lions who are 0-15 at this point.  This is more than a recession or a depression.  The Lions need mouth to mouth resusitation and a shocking jump start.  Congress should pass a law requiring each of the other teams in the league to give up one player chosen by the Ford family that owns the team.  Their record of picking players should not worry all of the other teams, because how many all-stars have they picked recently.  The Lions have come this far without winning, so they might as well make it a perfect season...0-16.  That is a record that no one can beat, not even with congressional help.

President Joseph Biden

Could it be the Joe Biden will be the next to the next President of the United States?  When Obama resigns or is impeached, it will be President Biden.  Now that is really exciting to think about.

WILL OBAMA FIX THE UNION PROBLEM

It is taken me a little time to digest the idea that Barak Obama is going to be the next President of the United States.  I wish him nothing but good luck, because he is certainly going to need it.  Along with a history making president we are also going to have a dominant Democrat majority in the Congress.  The makeup of the Supreme Court is going to change as President Obama appoints liberal judges.  The economy is in shambles in a way that we haven't seen since the Great Depression.  The United States is about to make significant changes in the way is does business.  I hope that we have learned from our mistakes of the past, but generations seem to make their own mistakes.  Where is the model of success in this world?  The world has looked toward us for answers and we have fallen our wallets.
It is clear to me that socialism is not the answer.  If you doubt this, look around.  Where is your model of successful socialism?  Socialism as a concept seems reasonable, but it doesn't work.  It doesn't work for the same reason that capitalism does work.  People are motivated by selfinterest.  It is called the profit motive.  But there are flaws in capitalism, as we are now witnessing.  I hope that the new Democrat government of the United States doesn't throw the baby out with the bath water.  Keep what works and change what doesn't work.
It appears that the current American auto industry doesn't work.  The problem is government interference with the system.  The unions got greedy and now the whole industry is in jeopardy.  So, fix the unions.  Look at the problem and the solution is obvious.  Fix the union contracts so that American cars can compete.  But the unions are an important part of the Democrat party.  This means that the Democrats will have to injure themselves in order to fix the problem.  Lets us see how much leadership is provided by President Obama.  Will he fix the union problem?

OBAMA IS A SOCIALIST

It is quite clear the Barak Obama is a socialist.  Obama want to redistribute the wealth in the United States.  I believe that he feels it is just retribution and repayment for the discrimination and repression suffered by minorities in this country.  This is an attitude of entitlement that is very prevalent among many people in minority groups.  Barak Obama is dangerous because he promotes an idea that will injure the United States.  I am only one voice, but I am speaking out.  So should all of us.

McCAIN'S PERFECT CHOICE

John McCain picked the perfect running mate.  Sarah Palin is the Governor of a state, a highly respected governor.  Yes, she is relatively inexperienced, but that will illustrate the inexperience of Barak Obama.  Palin has a number of accomplishments, which will highlight the fact that Obama has no accomplishments.  She is definitely a woman.  Rush Limbaugh called her a "babe."  She is easy to look at and interesting to listen to.  She is a person of ideas and the drive to see her ideas realized.  I look forward to voting for her and expect her to make a great vice president and eventually President of the United States.

WILL OBAMA SURVIVE?

As I watched the Circus Obama move from country to country, I took notice of the crowds and the adoring press that so desperately wants to crown their Messiah Barak.  I began to wonder if Obama will survive the election.  This election seems to be a referendum on him.  He isn't running on his record as an elected official, because there really isn't a record of any accomplishments.  A white man with similar non-qualifications would be home fishing with his children or grandchildren and not pretending to run for President of the United States.  Barak Obama is a black man with an Moslem Arab name and those are his qualifications.  So the question before the American people is this: Do you want a black man with a Moslem Arab name as your president?

WHO IS OBAMA?

Obama is like a rock star.  He is applauded and mooned over.  He makes music that many people like to listen to, but when the last note is only an echo in the night, Who is Obama?  Where is the substance of Obama?  Where is the substance of a rock star?  What they do is just make a different kind of noice.  It is scary that people are seriouse about Obama as President of the United States.  What has he done in the past that has strengthened him for the trials of the office of President of the United States?  Obama hasn't completed a single term in the Senate.  He has not sponsored any major legislation.  The only qualification that seems to be important to Democrat voters is that he is Barak Obama.  Ooooooooooo!   Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

TONY SNOW

Tony Snow was the most honest reporter we had in today's news business.  I enjoyed listening to him and I trusted his opinions.  I will miss him and so will everyone else.

OBAMA, THE UNMAGNIFICENT

Just who is Barak Obama?  What has he done to warrant the presidency of the United States?  Absolutely nothing.  He has a non-descript three years in the United States Senate, where he has exhibited no leadership at all.  The only thing that propels his candidacy is that he is one half black.  That one half isn't even an American black.  At least John McCain has a record of leadership in the U.S. Senate even if you don't like the result of his leadership.  McCain is a known quantity, but what kind of a quantity is Barak the Magic Negro?

ROMNEY REDUX

Could it be that Mitt Romney still might make it into the White House to sit at the desk in the oval office as a result of the 2008 election?  If John McCain selects Romney as his Vice President, then there is a distinct possibility of President Romney.  Let's face it, John McCain is 72 years old.  With the stress that every president faces, it might be more than McCain can sustain.  If he dies in office, Mitt Romney will inherit the oval office.  We will just have to wait to see what happens.

LOOK PAST MCCAIN AND OBAMA

Lets face it.  McCain and Obama are lousy candidates for President of the United States.  However, they are the choices that we have.  I would much rather have two different candidates, because I don't want either of these two men to be President.  In my disappointment I have decided to look past the candidates and focus on which political party is best for the United States.  I believe that the Democratic Party will bring bigger problems to the United States than the Republican party will.  I see no economic growth coming with the Democrats in control.  However, I believe the Republicans can offer much more hope for a positive future.  I see no sense of pride in this country coming from the Democrats.  However, I can see more pride and patriotism on the Republican side of the isle.  The one thing that the Republicans lack is the courage to persue the things they know are right.  Even with their lack of resolve, the Republicans are the better choice.  So, in November I will vote for the Republicans.  John McCain just happens to be on the ballot in one of the positions to be filled, but is he really a Republican?

THE ABOMINABLE PRESIDENT

Who do you really want to be President of the United States?  I'll bet that person won't be on the ballot in November.  The Amereican voters are facing an abominable choice in November.  It is possible that the Democrats could choose someone other than Obama or Clinton.  It is possible that the Republicans could choose someone other than McCain.  However, it is more likely that our choice will be between a liberal Democrat and a liberal Republican.  The liberals should be happy, but they are not.  I would just as soon see a liberal Democrat elected rather than a liberal Repulican.  A liberal victory in November will bring on four years of bickering between various liberal voting blocks in Congress.  Guess who will be the swing voters in Congress...the conservatives.  We will see whether the conservatives can be effective and vote as a bloc and make a difference.  Remember four years is not a lifetime, even though it might seem like a very long time.  Conservatives, it is time to stick together and make a difference.  It is time to plan for the 2012 election when the liberal abominable president can be defeated.

President Barak Obama

OK.  The contest for the Republican and Democratic nominations seem to be over, but how many people are happy with the probable selections?  Senator John McCain?  Oh, hum.  Senator Barak Obama?  Interesting choice.  However what kind of person do I want to be President of the United States?  A year ago I thought that the Republicans would nominate Mitt Romney.  That choice made sense to me because he is a former governor of Massachusetts and Americans historically select more governors to be presidents than they do senators.  Romney certainly looks presidential, but the primary voters didn't support him that well.  Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee was a possible choice, but only some evangelicals took him seriously.  Maybe the religious factor caused voters to stay away from Romney and Huckabee.  Senator McCain was the fall back choice for a plurality of voters, but McCain doesn't stir much excitement for the future because so much of McCain is of the past.  Voting for McCain is  like voting for a moderate Democrat.  If you want a Democrat then why not vote for one.
A year ago I thought that Senator Hillary Clinton would be the choice of the Democrats.  I thought that Senator Obama was too inexperienced  and sounded too much like a Muslim terrorist to be elected President of the United States.  I dreaded the thought of four to eight more years of a Clinton in the White House.  It's a package deal.  If Americans elect Hillary they are also getting Bill and that was totally unacceptable to me.  But I had difficulty accepting the nice looking Senator from the state of Illinois because of his name and his inexperience.  However, after listening to him for the past year, I have lost any hesitation I might have had about his name.  He is a well educated, well spoken individual.  Racially, Obama is half white and half black.  That might bother some people, but it doesn't bother me a bit because he doesn't sound "black."  He actually sounds a lot like I do.  After a year of watching and listening to Barak Obama I have decided that I like him as a person.  However, he is a liberal and that is a problem.
It will be much more interesting to have President Barak Obama than it would be to have President John McCain.  The writers of history books will have a field day with the first African-American president.  How effective will President Obama be in getting his liberal agenda through congress?  But then how effective would President McCain be in getting his liberal agenda through congress?  How many conservative judges will be appointed by Presdient Obama as opposed to President McCain?   Will the radical Muslims fear President Obama more than President McCain?
I have great difficulty accepting the idea that the American voters will choose John McCain to be president.  I'm not a liberal, but I would rather vote for Barak Obama than John McCain, because at least I would be helping to make history.  Hey, in four years it will be time for another election.  If we survive as a nation, we can elect a conservative to be President of the United States.

CONSERVATIVE MINORITY

It there any doubts that the conservatives are in the minority?  Guess what?  This minority is going to get smaller and smaller.  America is changing into a cradle to the grave socialist state.  This is what a majority of the people want and this is a democracy after all.  Our next president will be Barak Obama and he will lead us further down the socialist road.  The conservatives can huddle together and bemoan their demise, but that is how it is.
Demographic studies show us that the American population will be more and more hispanic.  These immigrants will be needing more and more social services.  That will fit right into the cradle to the grave mentality of the liberals and moderates.  Our country is changing and we might as well get used to it.  Conservative can consolidate their identity by leaving the Republican Party and forming the Conservative Party.  That actually makes sense because the conservatives are outvoted in the Republican Party now.  Why not make it official.
Perhaps all of the conservatives can pick a state and move there.  This would cause great consternation among the residents of that state, but hey, that's the American way.   So, what state would all you conservatives like to go to.  Sure, you would have to sell your house and uproot your family, but at least you would be in the majority in that state.  That has got to be worth something.  You can show the rest of the country what a conservatism is really like.
How about Texas?  It's big but maybe too close to Mexico.  How about Michigan?  Michigan could use a boost to their economy.  There are a lot of liberals who want to sell their homes because their out of work.  Hey, what a deal.  That settles it.  We're going to Michigan.  Look out Governor Grandholm.  HERE WE COME!

WILL HILLLARY PLAY RACE CARD?

Barak Obama is the first African American to have a chance to be elected Presdient of the United States.
Will Hillary Clinton take the high road or will she take the low road?  How many stories will be popping up on the internet and on cable news programs about Obama being a black man?  Will there be jokes about field hands and house servants?  How about having a black man with a muslim name as Presdient of the United States?  How much of that will rise to the surface?  It depends on how badly Hilliary wants the nomination.  If she takes the low road, she loses.  If she takes the high rode, she loses.
It appears that Barak Obama will have enough momentum to capture the Democrat nomination.  It will be close but Hillary will not win the nomination.  That means that Barak Obama will be the next president of the United States.  I had hopes that Mitt Romney would get that title, but it appears that he will have to wait until 2012.  John McCain doesn't have a chance against Barak Obama.  The Republican nominee will lose 53 to 47.  There will be no hanging chads this time.  A majority of American voters will have elected a black man with a muslim name to be President of the United States.
