Well, well. It has been a while since I submitted a blog. In the time away from this venue, what has happened? Which candidates have risen from the muck and mire to shake off the dirt and dust of the campaign? Hillary and Obama are still the leaders for the Democrat nomination. Karl Rove thinks that Hillary will be the nominee. I agree. I think we need a nationwide up or down vote on the Clintons again. It isn't just Hillary, as we all know. Bill will go where ever Hillary goes. He wants to get back in the White House and sit behind that big desk. They will have two desks in the Oval Office. His and Hers. I'll bet her desk will be covered with work and his desk will be clear. Le Grande Clinton will be singing, "I'm back in the saddle again."
The only Republican I can see sitting behind the big desK in the oval office is Mitt Romney. I thought this from the beginning and my opinion hasn't changed. Romney has already sat behind the desk in an executive office, but the oval office is a different galaxy. He might want to make it the Starship Private Enterprise, because it is time that this nation goes where no nation has gone before. We are on the brink of a new era, which only a Republican president can lead. The other Republicans are carryovers from the past, whereas Romney is poised for national and international leadership for future generations where we can all live long and prosper.
I vote for the future because we have already experienced the past.
